Travel the Philippines and Enjoy

The Philippines is a tropical country with fascinating landscapes, active volcanoes, splendid beaches, coral waters and tropical forests. Communication and getting around the country is easy since most Filipinos understand and speak English. Mobile phones are available everywhere, foreign currency can easily be converted into Philippine peso and credit cards are also accepted in major establishment. Filipinos are very hospitable, fun-loving and friendly people.
Philippine archipelago consist of 7,107 islands with a total land area of 300,000 square kilometers or 115,830.60 square miles. The 11 largest islands contain 94% of the total land area. The largest of these islands is Luzon at about 105,000 km², where the capital capital city of Manila is located. The next largest island is Mindanao at about 94,600 km².
Philippine islands are divided into three groups: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Luzon Island included Luzon itself, Mindoro, Palawan, Masbate, and other smaller islands. Visayas is a group of several small islands, the largest of which are: Panay, Negros, Cebu, Bohol, Leyte, and Samar. Mindanao island itself and the Sulu Archipelago, composed of Tawi-Tawi, Basilan and Sulu.
Philippine climate is hot, humid and tropical. Average yearly temperature is around 26.5° Celsius. The three season of the Philippines Summer: from March to May. Rainy Season from June to November, and cold season from December to February.
Traveling within the Philippines not difficult, there are all kinds of vehicles available to tourist and locals: Ferries for inter-island transfers, buses & taxis play in major cities all over the Philippines and the ubiquitous Jeep can be found everywhere. In Metro Manila, light rail transit is available on main roads. In tertiary roads & small rural towns the tricycle is the transport of choice.
Here are some featured most frequently visited tourist spots in the Philippines:Boracay Beach- the best resort in the world. It is located at the northwestern tip of Panay across Palawan Island, in the West Visayas Region, off the Sibuyan Sea. Boracay has managed to pack its thousand-hectare area with all the elements of a tropical paradise crystal blue waters, powder white sand, liberal doses of tropical palms and flowering plants, and a healthy marine life underneath the seas. Dakak Part Beach Resort- is located on the sunny white beach facing the exotic turquoise Sulu Sea. Baguio - the summer capital of the Philippines; Bohol Island Corregidor Island; Cebu City; Davao City; the Islands of Palawan; the Hundred Islands of Pangasinan; Puerto Galera Beach;and the breathtaking Banaue Rice Terraces. Those are Some of the beautiful places you can visit in the Philippines .
